The actions could offer the option to be performed on each mesh individually during multiple selections.
For example, changing the pivot point to “down” or performing a move-to-origin operation would affect each mesh individually, not the entire group. The “Group” and “Object” options in the “Target” menu could potentially target this, but this isn’t currently the case. If this isn’t possible, perhaps using the “Select” tool instead of a different selection method could achieve this individual targeting.
