Dear all, I’ve been looking to create a model with some decent cracks and damage decals. -for a while, I’ve held a bunch of (97) zBrush brushes (ZBP) but have wanted to be able to use them in Nomad. I managed to convert 88 of them and turn them into nomad brushes. **Timeline / origin:** They originally came from a website in 2015 (zBrush user - Simon Fuchs), who created them from some designs a man called Paul Tosca created. Simon credited Paul on his website (where I got these), and I’m crediting Simon here. -they were offered up for free, so I am confident no harm done here. 🙂 ![zbrush_source](https://europe1.discourse-cdn.com/flex005/uploads/nomadsculpt/original/3X/1/8/18b134c12ac4252b7efcdd1684cccd4bdce27ae6.jpeg) **The process:** - cycled through each ZBP in zBrush, exporting a TIF each time (to maintain 16-bit depth)= - brought into Photoshop to re-export as PNG (preserving the bit depth of 16) Brought into Nomad and took the default Clay brush, cloned, assigned the Alpha, inverted pixels (if needed), adjusted the falloff occasionally (if needed). Finally, saved each brush of course, and uploaded them here. **To use:** Download **Cracks & damage (alphas).zip** - Open Files app (iOS), extract the zip. Place the extracted folder in **Nomad \> Alphas** do the same again with **Cracks & Damage (brushes).zip** but place folder in **Nomad \> Tools** 🎨 Brushes should now appear when Nomad is restarted 👍🏼 **Disclaimer:** 1. the thumbnails for the brushes are not ideal (they are simply taken from a snippit of the alpha image itself), but the brush names themselves should hopefully make it clear. 2. This is the first time I’ve ever attempted authoring a brush. Thanks, I just saw your reply for my post recently. I will download these. I have crack alphas but want to try these as well. By the way, for those stone blocks on that post, what I am after is TrimSmoothBorder equivalent. I cant make flatten brush behave like TrimSmoothBorder. ---

Apologies in advance newbie question here. I’m on an iPad Pro and the Nomad scope app and I can’t see any option to import the brushes. I managed to import the alpha but the brush is file. No idea it says place in tools but there is no folder named tools on my iPad. ---

Drag n drop the file or simply use the Import button in the Files menu (then select “tools”). ---

[Simple archway sculpt](https://youtu.be/ki21OGRb3aw?is=UMVDwaW3vuC_3ti1) hey folks 👋🏻 long time no post for me.. I’ve been using Blender more and more, but I always had in mind to try sculpting for a particular part of my building model/project. granted there are many ways to do this but .. it’s all practice/ trial n error for me anyways… so here, anyway, an archway! I’ve used a bunch of the PNG / stamp/ brushes here. I’d not been back to Nomad in a fair while and was treated to see all the other new brushes added over time. Some really helpful ones such as the creases, planing, scrape. 👍🏻 I used a few here.
