Hi, all - Found the Projects folders but can not locate my texture file(s).
Am I over looking something or are they saved to a different path?
EDIT - SOLVED!
Baking the textures creates the texture files needed and saves them to
C:\ Users \ -**user name- **\ AppData \ Local \ Nomad Sculpt \ data \ tmp_session \ textures
Textures are normally in the tmp folder
Thanks, can you provide a path?
I’ve found greyscale image textures I’ve imported for use as Alphas but not files for my paint work.
Have you looked in these folders?
AppData\Local\Nomad Sculpt\data\textures
AppData\Local\Nomad Sculpt\data\data\textures
I don’t have any saved textures yet, but as far as I know Nomad keeps textures, alphas, matcaps project files, etc all in the AppData\Local\Nomad Sculpt folder.
Thanks for the reply.
The Metallic, Roughness, Albedo files are not in those folders - they only contain the greyscale texture alphas I imported.
If I port to Blender with GLB, the colors port over too but not sure where Blender is accessing those color files from.
Next blender plugin update will support drag n drop nomad file.
It will automatically link the texture in the correct slot.
That being said, textures works with glb as well. But are you sure you have textures? By default Nomad works mostly around vertex painting, not textures (although it does support it).
Can this bridging plugin be developed to support Rhino software
Thanks for replying. I figured it out.
Going to edit my OP for anyone else looking for a solution.
I figured out on my own (after much fiddling) only to find a handful of videos on YouTube, demonstrating how to save textures, minutes later. ha ha.
