# Split the screen to use a 3d model as reference?

It would be nice if we could split the screen in this way in order to use a 3d model as reference [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oSoj-BiVH50](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oSoj-BiVH50) . Right now I´m loading the models that I want use as reference in forger, at least is there a way to run Nomad twice in IOS, ?? I can do that in a galaxy phone.

Just out of curiosity, I have also asked about this possibility for IOS, Nomad really runs on your galaxy 2 times ?

Nomad isn’t really meant to run 2 instances at the same time, since any changes done to the Nomad folder on one process won’t be synchronized correctly on the other one. There could be conflicts.

Split screen or multiple viewports make sense but it’s not high priority at the moment.  
If it’s just for viewing, what you can do is simply using split screen with Safari and [nomad - WebAssembly](https://nomadsculpt.com/demo/) (you’ll need to open or drag and drop your model though)

Thank you, running the web assembly is a good solution to view 3d models as references.
