# .PSD format for Alpha brush

Will it be possible in the new version of Nomad to use the psd/Photoshop format for the alpha channel of the brushes?

It was already possible.  
But limited.

So I guess you better save those zBrush alphas as png or jpgs.

Knacki, thanks for your reply.  
What is the limit?  
I downloaded a stone texture for the brush from the ZBrush website. I can’t add this file when selecting it through the Alpha explorer inside Nomad. And yes, I already have a psd to png converter on Android. After the conversion, the file can be added.

If I recall there is a bug in 1.65 where the psd are ignored.  
Should be fixed on next release.
