The program deletes projects by itself, it happens like this: I open the project and, for example, overwrite it to get a copy of the project and save it, close the window, and tried to open another project immediately and nothing happens, but as soon as I restart the application, the project I was trying to open disappeared as if it had been overwritten(( by the way, a week-long project disappears without a trace… It’s a terrible feeling, I’m just afraid to start anything! Such gross bugs kill the desire to create something!
Sounds like user error. When you say you overwrite something, it means you delete something in order to save a new thing in its place.
Maybe make a video of what’s happening so we can see it happen?
If you use “overwrite” and select a project, it won’t clone it, it will overwrite it with the current project.
Use “save as…” to clone it.
I made the popup in red and there is also an extra popup that ask for confirmation.

I opened a project (1), did something in it, and decided to overwrite it to get a copy of this project. I clicked on (save as), successfully overwritten it, and closed the window. Now it’s project (2). Then I immediately opened the preview window and tried to open project (3), a completely different project, but there was no action. The program was silent. Ok, I opened the preview window again, this project (3) was still visible, and I tried to open it again, nothing again. I clicked a couple more times and decided that the application wasn’t responding, so I restarted it. The application restarted, opening project (2), but when I opened the preview window, I didn’t find project (3) there… Later, I’ll record a video with touches.

You use the word “overwrite” in a weird way… Simply click “save as”, to clone the project.
Overwritten somethings means you discard this project with new data.
You didn’t answer the question on the version, which Nomad version are you at?
It’s not even a matter of re-recording the project, on the video you can see it even after simply saving a new project. I tried to open the previous one, but the project didn’t open, and after restarting it disappeared.
On the video I see that you are on huawei.
Maybe it’s not the issue though, I don’t know yet.
You got two “Project 1” which should be impossible, it’s actually the core of the problem.
But I cannot replicate it so far.

Note that it works the same on 2.8 I made the test.
- Did you change the Nomad default folder (nomad menu, top left icon)?
- in Debug → Logs you can see if there are issues (for example stuffs written in red about file permission)
