# Nomad Sculpt crashes when settings.json is created

Hey, I wanted to install the trial version of Nomad Sculpt to test it on my computer. The PC is powerful, so it’s definitely not a hardware issue.

When I launch the app, everything works fine at first. But as soon as the file `settings.json` is created, the app immediately closes.

If I delete the `settings.json` file, it launches again without problems — but after about a minute, the file is recreated automatically and the program crashes again.

When I try to open it afterward, I only get a white screen for about 4 seconds, and then it shuts down.

I’m not sure what to do next. Any ideas how to fix this?

Did you unzip the archive or did you run Nomad from within the archive?

Also if you tested 2.3.23, try instead Beta Nomad 2.3.28.zip
