At the moment you only get 2 face groups when splitting the mesh with the mask in fill / fill mode. 2 face groups per mesh would be great - so also a new Facegroup for the fill area. It’s not obvious but check in the topology menu → hole settings. The setting also apply to mask extract. See the tooltip in facegroup. ---
