# Boolean subtract not working properly

When I try and Boolean subtract a shape it doesn’t remove the piece to be subtracted. You can see the outline and the shape that should have been subtracted but it is still one piece. The operation completes successfully. No manifold or hole issues as diagnosed by their respect tools. Any ideas?
