Hello Mr Nomad creater,
Your software is legendary and allow entry into 3D modeling extremely easily and effectively. Not to mention how beautiful the software is and what beautiful things it lets all of us design and create. I started using Nomad after I tried then failed learning Blender. Nomad is such a well designed program and I thank you for it. One thing I would love to see is a way to save easy to access Boolean shapes that we can make ourselves then save somewhere in the menu. The long way of doing this now is to create a Boolean shape then save it individually as a Nomad file than add it along the way, but this would take too long if you were needing several different shapes and needing to do this. It would be incredible if we can save these shapes somewhere where it is available in the scene menu to quickly clone from and use for Boolean functions. Thank you!
Perhaps create a new model preset folder and save them there.
This would give you quick access, with preview, and name.
You can even create multiple folders to help organize your shapes.
Great ideas and I think these are definitely good work arounds. I’ve seen some beta testing on 2.9 and that we will be able to see icon pictures to represent the shape to be able to track and organize as we work. This was an excellent addition, being that I find myself often trying to sort which object is which in the scene menu, which can sometimes cause confusion and delay from my work. This idea that I asked for was basically along the lines of the same where we had it easily accessible thing right there in the sea menu that we can actually open boolean shapes that we’ve specifically saved unique to certain type of 3-D modeling. Of course the workarounds will have to do, but this is more to help not only streamline the work, but also to have at your disposable visual reference a boolean shape that you created specifically in one that you will continuously use but overall thanks for the good suggestions.
