# 2.12 (8) Usability issue with the auto-correction feature of the Mark brush

THE PLATFORM: iPad  
NOMAD APP VERSION: 2.12.1

The current Mark brush automatically adjusts selections to perfect circles, ellipses or rectangles. However, it is difficult to control. Sometimes the shape is forcibly corrected even when a perfect circle is not intended. This feature would be excellent with further refinements.

1. Add a toggle option to enable or disable the function.
2. Add an adjustable parameter for the correction range.

It’s a bug, it was only meant to be used on long press, not a quick shape.  
I prefer to not clutter the UI with more controls.

That makes sense. I don’t think this feature is practical either. If you need to draw perfect circles, ellipses or rectangles, the corresponding marquee selection tools will suffice, and long-pressing allows for further adjustments.
